The word “Webtoon” is somewhat new in the comics industry. It’s a combinaton of “world wide web” and “cartoon”.

A Webtoon is a type of digital comic that originated in South Korea and is read vertically by scrolling down on computer or smartphone which is differnt from Webcomic that is read by swiping left and right with black and white color.

There are different type genres of Webtoon for you to pick such as Action, Comedy ,Drama, Fantasy, Historical, Mystery, Slice of life, Sci-fi, Sport, Romance, Thiller etc. Currently, one of the most popular Webtoon is called Solo Leveling is being animated and will premiere in winter 2024. This anime adaptation become one of the highly anticipated upcoming anime among Webtoon and anime fans.
